We are a Paleo-Anthropological and Cultural Preservationist group and our desire is twofold: (1) to facilitate the exhumation of the whale in a timely manner to prevent loss from erosion and curious collectors; and (2) to prepare and install the fossilized skeleton in a structure for the primary purposes, but not limited to, the preservation and public education of the paleontological, anthropological and cultural wealth of this valley. There are many options and aspects to this project that need consideration, and the possibilities are endless. Here is a veritable doorway through which paleontology and anthropology connect us in an incredibly positive way to the world on so many levels.
